Paul’s Speaking Engagements
Paul returned from two mediation conferences, one in Dublin and the other in Glasgow. In Dublin, he spoke at the International Mediation & Restorative Practices Conference at the Edward Kennedy Institute, NUI Maynooth. In Glasgow, Paul spoke at The ‘Mediate Scotland 2014’ Conference, an event organised by the Scottish Mediation Network in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde. Both his talks covered the area of psychology as applied to mediation and conflict resolution.
Paul has also been in South Africa, where he was invited to attend the 4th Annual International Desmond Tutu Peace Lecture and Symposium in Cape Town, and where he gave a talk at the Symposium. Interestingly, Mary Robinson was the Keynote Speaker at the Maynooth Conference, and was also be the Keynote speaker at the Tutu Lecture in Cape Town , where the theme is ‘Women in Peace’.
Since then and after his return from Cape Town, Paul has been to Albania – his 9th visit to this country in 3 years – to continue his series of mediation training sessions to judges and attorneys there.
